Falconry or hawking is one of the oldest sports known to man, historically the domain of kings and emperors - it's no wonder when you see one of these regal birds of prey in action. These days it's banned in many countries as a sport. Even in those countries falconry is alive, and used as a tool for conservation, and to rehabilitate injured falcons, hawks, eagles and owls.
